Enola Holmes 2: What We Know so Far

On May 13, Netflix confirmed the return of our favorite female detective, Enola Holmes! Both Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) have been confirmed to be reprising their roles as Enola and Sherlock Holmes. The original writer, Jack Thorne, and director, Harry Bradbeer, are also confirmed to be returning for the sequel, which will hopefully ensure the same level of quality as the first film.

There is currently no release date or synopsis available. However, since the first film followed the plot of the first Enola Holmes novel, The Case of the Missing Marquess, many people, including reporters at Collider, expect the sequel to follow the plot of the second novel, The Case of the Left-Handed Lady (intriguing, isn't it?).

Millie Bobby Brown has expressed much enthusiasm for reprising the role of this female sleuth, stating:

"I can't wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart, she's strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues."

It’s not yet confirmed whether the rest of the original cast will reprise their roles, but suffice it to say the current line-up in cast and crew is very promising! Our team at The Postmodern Journal is excited to learn more about this new Installment in the Enola Holmes films and will certainly update our readers with our theories for the plot as well as all further news developments on the production of this film.
