Things Are Going Well

I realized I haven't updated this blog in a while! I haven't had the time for it, which is sort of a good thing because I've been busy working. Since my last update, I've gone from taking the odd project to working consistently. I currently ghost-write FAQ articles for a website that specializes in articles about retail and e-commerce. I may decide to take on some other writing projects to add a little more to my resume (and my wallet), but for now, I'm thoroughly enjoying my workload as-is!

Right now, I work 6-7 days for about 3-4 hours at a time. I work on a project-by-project basis so the size of the articles I'm writing will often depend on how many days I need to work a week. The word count may be the same, but I find it way easier to write a large number of words when they're separated into smaller articles.

In fact, my workload is spread out this week so that I can actually take the weekend off, which I don't normally do. I may do one or two things, get some research done ahead of time perhaps, but otherwise, I have the whole weekend to work on my current WIP and continue reading The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (our bookclub read at The Postmodern Journal this summer)!

I'm definitely going to work to update this blog more often, as I think it's essential for writers to keep a blog nowadays, it helps them get found on the internet and so on. So you'll see more of me on here from now on!
