Yes, I'm Still Here, and I Have Updates

It's been ten months - TEN MONTHS since I updated this website or posted any content. And I know, you're like "Girl, what happened to you?" - but I swear I didn't fall off the face of the earth - I just got laid off.

Shortly after posting my "How to Stay Focused: Working From Home" article (which you should definitely check out if you haven't already), the company I worked for ended up closing down on an indefinite basis, resulting in me and the other writers and editors being let go. Oh, the irony.

Cut to me being virtually unemployed for six months (I had a side job, but we had a small queue at this time) at which time I didn't really feel like giving advice on this WFH-themed blog when I wasn't exactly practicing what I preach.

I happily got a new job as a content writer for a digital marketing agency at the end of March, and the workload at my side job ramped up after that, so now I not only have work again - but I'm beginning to miss that office space in my old apartment that I absolutely squandered (the organization possibilities - the potential for a dual-screen set up - the agony!)

I've been meaning to pick up this blog again for ages, but between learning the ropes of my new job, working on my WIP, and the endlessness of having a personal life, I haven't been able to find the time until now.

However, I'm now in a regular routine and am looking forward to doing more with this blog! If all goes according to plan, I should have an article and/or blog post up at least once a week. I'd also like to start featuring a few other topics in addition to Work From Home - book reviews, lifestyle, random shower thoughts that haunt me in the middle of the night - so there's much to look forward to!
