It's Summer and I'm Moving Into a New Apartment

In five weeks, I'll be moving into a new apartment! I'll be moving from the south to the north (Gaskell reversed) into a cute little 1-bedroom FULL of storage space. As July 30 is fast approaching, I've been spending the last few days packing up my non-essentials, almost exclusively using boxes from my neighbourhood liquor store (which wasn't planned but definitely gives off a certain vibe).

As I upgrade to a better place, I'm also planning to refresh my furniture and home decor after I move in. I've been saving links from Wayfair and my local Antique Mall to deck out my new home with items that are more to my taste (soon I'll be able to say goodbye to my cheap and uncomfortable Amazon couch), with the intent to give my new place a "cottage in the city" feeling

I plan to document the process of moving both on my Instagram and on here (something I intended to do when I moved to Edmonton but ended up not having the time for), so I'll definitely be updating this blog more from this point forward. I plan to take ya'll along with me as I pack, hunt for furniture and decor, and set up my new place, so make sure to check my Instagram for updates over the following weeks!
