It's 2022 and I Have a Couch

The truth is, I bought a couch in October. But due to recently switching positions at my work (I've gone from being a ghostwriter to an editor), I haven't had the time to talk about it. But things are regulating in my schedule, so I'm re-entering the blogging and creative writing scene at full force!

After four months, I've settled into my life in YEG quite well, making delightful friends, finding my go-to cafe, and accumulating myself to the rush and bustle of the bus route schedule. And now that we've entered into January, I look forward to the oncoming of Spring, which will hopefully arrive before too long, if winter is kind to us this year.

At fourteen, I was quite obsessed with Paris, and I imagined spring in the city almost every day, so now that I'm in a city, the idea once again occupies my mind! However, we still have three-four months to go, so the idea must remain an idea until the appointed hour.

However, I'm enjoying winter in the city so far, what with the fringe benefit of grocery and food delivery, allowing me to stay home even when my fridge is completely empty (outside of my two grocery bags worth of caesar salad dressing packets). I've spent my time indulging in Red (Taylor's Version), staying out past 3 am and making large quantities of molasses baked beans.

Overall, things are going well, and now that I'm back to a relatively normal schedule, I can return to the lovely world of reading books, keeping journals, writing stories and indulging in the glory of imagination! So, you'll see me around quite a bit.
