Time for a Little Adventure!

In my ever-present quest to romanticize my life, I've actually succeeded in a very big way. I was feeling like a main character when I quit my barista job and began working from home, but I've taken the plot a little step further- next week I'll be moving to a big city!

I've been planning to move since 2020 BC (Before COVID), and the delay is finally lifted. With looser restrictions in place now, I'll be able to explore art galleries, indie cafes, festivals, the symphony and every other exciting thing that takes place in a large metropolis.

This whole situation came together extremely fast. I went seeking an apartment and three days later I was set to move. Basically, I pulled an Emily in Paris, except I live in Canada and my show isn't- well, you know.

This all goes to explain why I haven't been posting any articles this month. However, now that I'll be moving into an apartment with my own home office, you'll be hearing from me A LOT more, especially now that The Postmodern Journal is closed.

I'll be documenting my new city life quite a bit, meaning a large part of this blog will be dedicated to the city I'll be living in. I'll also be travelling more, which I'll be sure to document!
