4 Days and Counting

In less than 4 days, I'm off to YEG (ya know, the city where everyone uses the airport name unironically)! I'm truly excited, though it won't feel fully real to me until I'm actually there, getting my keys and signing the lease papers. Until then it's but a distant dream.

I'll be moving away from Unsplash photos once I'm settled in, as I plan on getting a real camera and doing more professional photography. And, fortunately for me, I'm moving to a historical city full of brick buildings and roads, fleur delis carved into the masonry, and let's not forget the street of old signs. Indeed, there will be MUCH to document.

I'll try to get out an article as soon as I can, though I'll likely just have time for blog posts until I'm fully settled in, as work stops for no one- not even someone in the middle of a move. But I have some articles lined up that I'm really excited to post, all about working from home, the art of writing and even some upcoming reviews!

This will probably be my last blog post in my childhood home, so the next time you see a post go live, I'll be a touristy city girl! I'm excited to document my time in Edmonton, as it will be a time of great change and discovery personally, artistically, and let's just say it- financially. Oh, the things we spend money on for a little independence!
