What I'm Doing Now...

I have officially left my job as a barista (although I still maintain a mini espresso bar) and am now a full-fledged freelance writer and ghostwriter! I now work for a couple of different companies on a project-by-project basis, and I'm hoping to expand my Instagram account as a platform for promotional services (read more about that here). Not only that, but I have more time to work on my novel projects, as well as The Postmodern Journal.

Suffice it to say, my spring has begun on a very positive note. I have to work a lot harder than I did serving coffee, but my stress is lessened by the fact that I am doing the kind of work that I love. Not only that, but I set my own schedule. I'm still working to find a feasible work-life balance to prevent me from overworking or procrastinating, but it's early days. I've already found a couple of things that work for me, such as starting every day with a workout and/or bike ride and working in a space separate from my bedroom. I would love to eventually begin a Youtube channel or IGTV series for Work From Home Vlogs, so let me know what you think of that idea! I'm also thinking of starting a SkillShare class for writing, content creating and so on.

So that's basically what I'm doing now! I will definitely be making this blog a larger priority, so keep on the lookout for regular uploads. Until next time, grab a good book, put on some relaxing music, and stay caffienated.
